Aztec H2O Services has installed over 40 companion water softener systems to complement your existing builder installed water conditioner system. Your existing system is essentially a water filter, much like a refrigerator filter. It is great for filtering-out chlorine and general bad tastes and odors. However, it is not soft water unfortunately. True soft water is can only be achieved with a traditional water softener. Traditional water softening is defined by the actual physical removal of the hard water minerals of calcium and magnesium from your water supply. Hard water can cause significant harm to a household plumbing system, plumbing fixtures, tankless water heaters, water-using appliances, glass shower doors, dishware/silverware/glassware, etc. Not to mention, you are missing out on the aesthetic benefits of soft water that include: softer & smoother skin, fuller and more manageable hair, more vibrant color maintenance of your fabrics and longer life of fabrics. Oh yeah, and a lot less "elbow grease" in keeping household surafces free from hard water spots.

The Enpress One System

The Enpress One System is a simple whole house filtration system that has been installed in certain 3-Roots sub-developments. It is a simple taste, odor and clarity filter. It has no capacity to handle or treat hard water minerals. Your water might look and taste better but the scale will pass right through the filter and enter your new pristine home. Scale can ruin a home's plumbing system, fixtures, tankless water heater and water using appliances [dishwashers, washing machines, etc]. You will also be battling hard water deposits wherever water comes in contact with household services. For those homes with an Enpress One system, we recommend our Combination Clack i5 Intelligent Controller system. This system combines 10% cross-linked softening resin with catalytic carbon in a single tank. This allows for the removal of the builder installed system since we maintain the filtration aspect while adding the benefits of soft water. Removing the builder installed system frees-up floor space and eliminates the $250 yearly service requirement to replace the builder installed filter. Our filtration capacity is up to 7 to 10 years [based upon a household of 2 to 4 persons]. This saves up to $1,750 to $2,500 in builder installed system yearly filter changes over that period of time. Of course if you wish to keep your builder installed system in place, we can easily combine our Clack i5 Intelligent Controller Water Softener System with your current system. We just eliminate filtration media from the system and replace it with an extra amount of softening resin. |
The Pure Elements System

The Pure Elements system is a whole house filtration system an catalytic salt-free water conditioner. Not to disparage this system, but we have had a hard time finding any info on the water hardness capability of the system. According to their website, this is the only mention of it: PURE's Catalytic Water Conditioning System will effectively address hard water problems without the use of salt effectively Not much info or transparency. We also sell a catalytic salt-free water conditioner and we make sure we disclose an abundant amount of info including a lot of science "stuff" on how the calcium is altered to a non-scaling mineral compound. However, it does appear to be a sound water filtration system that utilizes catalytic carbon. This is why we have been successful in combing this system with our Clack i5 Intelligent Controller Water Softener System. This will provide soft and filtered water throughout your entire home. |
The Falsken Water Conditioner System

The Falsken Whole House Conditioner System is basically the same as the Pure Elements System but with even less info on their website. However, once again, it does appear to be a sound water filtration system that utilizes catalytic carbon. This is why we have been successful in combining this system with our Clack i5 Intelligent Controller Water Softener System. This will provide soft and filtered water throughout your entire home.
